Joining a pool

Join on-chain cryptocurrency pools in less than a minute

The basics

Every fund on OpenPool is publicly available for anyone to join. All it takes to join a pool is to make a deposit to it.
Before joining a pool:
We advise anyone looking to join a pool to review the respective pool governance rules and take a look at the creators profile page to see their past performance history

How it works

The process for depositing and withdrawing for a pool revolves around an exchange of Ethereum and the respective group Governance token.
Specifically, all deposits to a group are done by sending Ethereum to your fund in exchange for the respective governance tokens.
Conversely, all withdrawals from a group are executed by sending your governance tokens in exchange for Ethereum.

Depositing to a pool

As noted above, the process for depositing to a group revolves around an exchange of Ethereum and your group's governance tokens.
To deposit to a pool, all you need to do is set the amount of Ethereum you'd like to deposit.
Once you've determined this information, you will then be prompted in your wallet to execute the transaction.
Upon completing your deposit, you will be sent a calculated amount of your pool's governance tokens.

Withdrawing from a pool

Similar to depositing to a group the process for withdrawing from a pool revolves around an exchange of your governance tokens in exchange for Ethereum
To withdraw from a pool, you will need to select how many of that pool's respective token's you'd like to withdraw.
Once you've determined this information, you will then be prompted in your wallet to execute the transaction.
Upon completing your withdraw, you will be sent the amount in Ethereum that you have chosen and the corresponding amount of tokens in your wallet will be burned.
